Yes — the free plan includes 100 credits each month, no card required. Anonymous API and MCP calls also work at a lower rate limit.

A credit is one unit of metered usage. A standard API or MCP call spends 1 credit; a few long-running operations spend more, and each endpoint states its cost in the API reference. Your monthly allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle and does not roll over.

Essential is €20 per month for 10,000 credits — 500 credits per €1; Scale is €80 per month for 100,000 credits — 1,250 credits per €1. At 1 credit per standard call you can work out what your volume costs before signing up. Credits come with the plan — there is nothing to buy separately.

Requests return HTTP 402 until your credits reset next cycle or you upgrade to a higher plan.

Payments are handled by Polar Software, Inc., our merchant of record and authorized reseller, which also manages VAT and sales tax. Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel — manage or cancel anytime from the billing page. Refunds are handled through Polar as described in our Terms.
